Terms & Conditions
Last updated: August 2026
These Terms & Conditions apply to services provided by Safe & Sound Sleep Co. (“Safe & Sound”, “we”, “us” or “our”).
By purchasing a sleep support package or other paid service from Safe & Sound Sleep Co., you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
1. About Safe & Sound Sleep Co.
Safe & Sound Sleep Co. provides infant and child sleep education and support for families with children from newborn to 5 years.
Our sleep support is educational and consultative in nature and does not constitute medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.
2. Booking and Payment
The price of each service or package will be clearly stated at the time of booking.
Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your consultation or package.
A booking is not confirmed until payment has been successfully received and confirmation has been issued.
Where a package includes questionnaires, sleep logs or other information that must be completed before a consultation, these should be returned within the requested timeframe.
Delays in providing required information may result in the consultation or delivery of a personalised sleep plan needing to be rescheduled.
3. Cancelling or Rescheduling Your Appointment
If you need to cancel or rearrange your consultation, please let us know as soon as possible.
Rescheduling
Each booking can be rescheduled once without charge, provided you contact us before your scheduled appointment time.
Your new consultation will be subject to availability and should normally take place within 4 weeks of the original appointment.
If you need to rearrange the same consultation more than once, we may treat the booking as a cancellation and ask you to make a new booking.
Cancellations
If you decide that you no longer wish to go ahead with your consultation:
Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the appointment will receive a full refund.
Cancellations made within 48 hours of the appointment are normally non-refundable, as that time has been reserved specifically for you. You may, however, use your one complimentary reschedule where applicable.
These cancellation terms operate separately from any statutory cancellation rights you may have.
Illness and Exceptional Circumstances
If you are unable to attend your consultation due to illness or exceptional circumstances, please contact us.
We will always aim to approach genuine exceptional circumstances with understanding and may offer an additional reschedule where appropriate.
Missed Appointments
If you do not attend your consultation and have not contacted us beforehand, the appointment will be considered a no-show and the fee will be non-refundable.
A new consultation would need to be booked and paid for separately.
4. Changes by Safe & Sound Sleep Co.
In the rare event that a consultation needs to be rearranged due to circumstances outside our control, we will offer the next suitable available appointment.
If an alternative cannot be agreed, any payment for services not yet provided will be refunded.
5. Consultations and Sleep Recommendations
Safe & Sound Sleep Co. provides recommendations to the best of our professional training, knowledge and experience, based on the information provided by the parent or caregiver.
As every child and family is different, we cannot guarantee that any consultation, sleep plan or recommendation will achieve a particular or desired sleep outcome.
6. Parent and Caregiver Responsibility
Parents and caregivers remain responsible for their child's care, wellbeing and safety at all times.
You agree to provide information about your child's sleep, feeding, health, development and relevant family circumstances as accurately as reasonably possible, as our recommendations will be based on the information available to us.
7. Medical Conditions and Medical Advice
Safe & Sound Sleep Co. does not provide medical advice, medical diagnosis or medical treatment.
Our sleep support is not a substitute for advice from your GP, health visitor, paediatrician or another appropriately qualified healthcare professional.
If your child is unwell, has unexplained symptoms, experiences difficulties with breathing or feeding, has poor weight gain, or you have any concern regarding their health or development, you should seek appropriate medical advice.
If your child has a diagnosed or suspected medical condition which may be affecting sleep, we may recommend that you seek advice or clearance from an appropriate healthcare professional before sleep support begins or continues.
Our sleep support will not intentionally encourage the removal of feeds that may be medically or developmentally necessary.
Where we reasonably believe that it would be inappropriate or unsafe to provide sleep support without medical input, we reserve the right to postpone or decline the service.
If a service cannot proceed for this reason, any payment relating to services not yet provided will be refunded.
8. Safe Sleep
Safe & Sound Sleep Co. supports evidence-based safer sleep guidance.
Parents and caregivers are responsible for ensuring that their child's sleep environment and sleeping arrangements are appropriate and safe.
Where relevant, we may signpost families towards current safer-sleep information from recognised professional or public-health organisations.
Sleep recommendations should never be interpreted as overriding medical advice or established safer-sleep guidance.
9. WhatsApp, Email and Follow-Up Support
Where your package includes follow-up support by WhatsApp, email or another messaging service, the duration and nature of that support will be stated in the package description.
The support period will begin on the date specified at the time of booking or otherwise agreed with you.
Messages may be sent at any time, but replies will be provided between 9am and 9pm.
We aim to respond as soon as possible after receipt, during these hours. Response times may occasionally vary due to consultations, annual leave, illness or circumstances outside our control.
Unless otherwise stated, messages are not monitored continuously and Safe & Sound Sleep Co. does not provide an emergency or urgent-response service.
If you have an urgent concern regarding your child's health or safety, you should contact an appropriate healthcare or emergency service.
10. Ongoing Support Packages
Where a package includes a defined period of follow-up support, the support period will run for the duration stated in the package description.
Clients are encouraged to engage with the support available during that period.
Unused messaging support, missed check-ins or delays in implementing recommendations do not extend the package beyond the agreed support period.
11. Sleep Plans and Materials
Any personalised sleep plan, guide, document, handout, checklist, educational resource or other material supplied by Safe & Sound Sleep Co. is provided for the personal use of the client and their immediate household.
All such materials remain the intellectual property of Safe & Sound Sleep Co. unless otherwise stated.
They must not be copied, reproduced, sold, published, uploaded online, shared publicly, distributed to third parties or used commercially without prior written permission.
You may share relevant recommendations with another caregiver who is directly involved in caring for your child.
12. Confidentiality and Privacy
Information shared during consultations and support periods will be treated confidentially and handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data-protection legislation.
Information will not be shared with third parties without your permission unless we are legally required to disclose it or there is a serious safeguarding concern.
Further information about how personal information is collected, used and stored can be found in the Safe & Sound Sleep Co. Privacy Policy.
13. Testimonials and Case Studies
Your child's sleep information, your messages, feedback and results will not be used publicly as a testimonial, case study or marketing material without your permission.
Where permission is given, you may request that identifying information is anonymised.
Giving or declining permission will not affect the service you receive.
14. Respectful Communication
Safe & Sound Sleep Co. is committed to providing supportive, respectful and non-judgmental services.
We reserve the right to end or refuse further support in cases involving abusive, threatening, discriminatory, harassing or otherwise seriously inappropriate behaviour.
Where support is ended for this reason, no refund will be provided for services already booked or underway, except where required by law.
15. Liability
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so.
Safe & Sound Sleep Co. will provide its services with reasonable care and skill.
Recommendations are based upon the information available at the time and are educational in nature.
Parents and caregivers remain responsible for decisions relating to their child's care and for seeking appropriate medical advice where necessary.
Safe & Sound Sleep Co. is not responsible for a particular sleep outcome simply because a recommended approach does not produce the result hoped for.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects your statutory rights.
16. Changes to These Terms
These Terms & Conditions may occasionally be updated to reflect changes to our services, business practices or applicable law.
The terms that apply to your purchase will normally be those provided or made available to you at the time your booking was made.
Changes will not retrospectively remove rights that formed part of an existing contract.
